Welcome to Naxos

Naxos is the largest island in the Cyclades, located just northeast of Paros. The island was for many centuries under the rule of the Venetians and Marko Sanudo. The influence of the venetians can be seen in some of the architechture of the old port town, particularly the old fort complex on the hill.
